They did, it was a pearl white.

I think the coupe in base white looks awful. Once the novelty has worn off you'll be wishing for a real colour.

No its not wrong white coupes look gorgeous

This is not required for a good lacquer finish as there are different 2k lacquer hardeners regarding drying time

for some reason white Coupes remind me of the white Lotus Esprit in the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me, even though they look totally different.

stan's coupe owner vetting program still has a few teething problems - this organ donor seems to have fallen through the net!

They sold a flat white in Europe, you can spot them in Spain, etc occasionally. I've seen a few, I think they were all early ones, 16v, but they don't look great in a standard white.
