Spotted a reasonable looking 2 owner 20VT plus in electric blue on ebay with tax and test for £795!!!!

Rang the guy but low and behold it was already sold

Did anyone on here buy it?

The trader has either

mispriced the ad
doesn't know the value
or
is hiding something

It says on the ad that the bodywork is `below ave condition` and that its `mechanically ok`.

Could be a decent runner or a total shed - if its anyone on here we'll soon find out.

When I rang him he said that it went instantly, when I questioned the price he sounded gutted and said several people have told him that he underpriced it.

I was going to use it as a run around and then take the wheels and seats out for my other coop.

Oh well guess I'll continue hunting!

Sold to a cumbrian not me though drove up here from oxford without missing a beat When he picked it up he must have had a Baleclava on as the seller was ROBBED!

Yeah that was supposed to be mine. Paid £100 deposit and was picking it tomorrow. Called me back tonight saying his mate sold it and he was sorry. Said a refund was made without my consent, but where do I stand ? I thought paying a deposit was a legally binded contract. P****d off to say the least !!!!!!!

That's outrageous! If anything you'd expect people who don't know the Coupe's value to try to oversell it not undersell it!!

It really is a bargain but I truly hope the buyer made all the right checks. Chassis number on V5 matches vin plate, etched glass & chassis stamp etc.
