I'm nearly there

Still got a few things to rebuild on the car, double check my list to make sure I've finished everything ready for Flea's live map, pack box of spares ect so I'm close

I need bodywork ,breaks,interior fitted,tyres and a load of other bits so not really there yet.

Nearly there.

Just a new oil leak to sort (well Rog to sort) next Thursday so won't be cutting it fine at all

My new £36 Euro satnav all programmed up

Just the breakdown cover to sort: must not forget that one

Forgot breakdown cover,insurance,replace indicator stalks and hids

Belts + big service check

brakefluid renewed check ( a few months ago)
tires and brakes condition check and all well

laquer peeling off on the bumper uncheck and won't be able to sort before Spa

Tracking of the car check and not happy with it (allthough my suspension had been renewed a year ago, still searching for the cause) but this aint a major problem as i'll drive like a grandpa on my first track experience

nearly ready, air-con pipe to get fitted, breakdown cover to be arranged, detailing by patch at Joe's 13th june....mapping at flea's on 12th -

Also very important.

If you have a radar speed trap detector other than a GPS based one, leave it at home.

If it is found in your car in France, switched on or not, you will not believe the amount of grief you will get from the cops.

I'm off to the Alfa Centenary on the 23rd but currently the car I had planned to go in looks like this

There is still an outside chance she will be ready but it all depends on the speed of the rebuild.
My alternative choices are
The Marea(jtd)
The Tricolor
or the coupe

As it's an Alfa event i think the choice will be obvious if a tad uncomfortable

Tempting tho it was, and seeing how much super resin polish and gloss protector it has on it it would slip through no bother.

Can't really justify this trip as we're off to Sicily a couple of weeks later

PS Bumble Bee has just had fresh oil & filter, plugs, regreased brake pipes and good all-clear from JM motors in Falkirk. Might need a trackrod end in the autumn. Sends best to its curators

driving at about 85mph in 6th, on comes the injector light

very hot along the centre part underneath where the gear lever is too - am i paranoid, or just unlucky? answers please lol

also, a slight burning smell, and i can't hear the fans come on until i turn the engine off

Ummm.... are the fans on when the ignition is off?
