Ive had 7 20vt's and 1 20v

My best was a low mileage Ink black fully spec'd and 100% standard,

Now gone all VAG!

Just the 2 20vt's for me, first one was Scotts green which got written off a few years ago. Second came about 2 weeks later and is red in colour........... I still miss the green one terribly, seeing the gold in the metallic paint work glimmer in the sunlight was an extra reward after spending the whole day washing and polishing.

Think I would love a black LE, they look evil!

3 sprinties, all very nice. The one I have now is best because it is set up so well (engine, suspension) and has had a respray and some nice recaros...

2 coops for me, after owning a Barchetta for 5 years, I bought my first, which was a shed of a standard Sprinty 20vt for £800. That got me hooked. Sold it for £1200 having done nowt to it in 12 months (rare coop ownership profit!), and bought my current Porto (where I'm certainly not in profit since owning ). But it's my favourite for sure!

Had two of them, a yellow 20VT, then an Electric Blue Plus. Had each for about two and half years.

The Plus was the newer, fresher car that fetched good cash when I sold it but in truth the Coupe journey I remember above all others is the one coming back from buying the first one, the Broomer. The smile stayed for hours.

1 yellow 20VT - proper shed and knew nothing about how to maintain a coupe so I made it worse and killed it
1 yellow 16VT - tidier but not quick enough
Curretn Vinci LE - definitely, without doubt the best and my favourite

First came the Broom Yellow 20V...then Steel Grey 20VT.

At first, the 20VT actually seemed dull in colour, steering, response, and sound. The 20V also seemed more chuckable and generally more eager to be driven. However, from the start I was surprised and hooked by the 20VT's surge of straight line power. Over the last few years with tweaking of almost every facet of the car i have managed to sharpen those areas i found lacking from the start...as well as adding a healthy dollop of power for good measure...so seeing the evolution of the 20VT has made me become the most attached to it, the Steel Grey colour has also grown on me!

I'm on my 4th Coupe.

1) Yellow P reg 20vt - This was a really good car, someone on here in Wales now has it (there were 2 owners of it between myself and them). Looking back I should have just kept that one all along, but didn't because I bought....

2) Electric Blue 20vt Plus V reg - this was an upgrade from my last Coupe. It had a fair amount of mods, and I thought rather than doing them myself to my last Coupe, it'd be cheaper and easier to buy with them already done. Lucifer bought this off a girl called Kelly who I'd sold it to.

3) Yellow 20v VIS T reg - After a gap in which I owned 4 other cars, I decided to come back to Coupe-dom as I'd always hankered for another since selling the Plus. It was very easy to drive and pretty reliable too!

4) Yellow 20vt R reg - This came up locally to me at just £2500 with 79k on the clock last April. I sold all the ICE and 18" alloys it came with so it cost nearer £2000! The 2 previous owners had spent loads on it with Barbz, so all mods were good ones. The quickest car I have ever owned, and the best looking.

I could only beat it with a yellow Plus with similar mods!

Just the one, but I wanted one ever since I saw one parked next to a Cinq Sporting in the showroom when I bought the latter as my first car.

Just wish mine was running properly.... ongoing saga!!!!

1997 silver 20VT - Only 5 year old at the time and about 73k. Now I realise it was a loose bag of crap! Garage I bought it from changed the Cam belt (Engine out they said) and it broke down 3 times in as many days as the aholes had put all the high pressure turbo hoses back on with plastic cable ties?!?

1999 Siler 20VT - This was completly standard and had 83k but drove like new. I then spent 3-4k on bodykits, modifications etc and everyone used to comment on it and ask what the hell it was. Sad day when I sold it to buy a new 350z........wanted it back after a few weeks. Even contacted the guy a few times over the first year about buying it back and he said never

1996 Blue 16VT - ABSOLOUTE NAIL. 5hr trip to pick it up and by the time I got there (after public transport) it could have been a skoda as I would have still got in it and drive it back! Nothing but trouble although it was chipped and was fast as f$%k! Easily used to keep up with 911's etc, much to there distaine!

2000 Inky Black 20VT Plus (off Patch). Mechanicaly a dream and drives perfectly. Started getting the bodywork sorted as I intend this to be a keeper.....eventually I'll treat her to a full re-spray in original colour.

Had all sorts of sports car and for an out and out drivers car I don't think I'll ever top the import impreza sti v4 I had, however the looks, sound, forum etc associated with the Fiat coupe make it my favorite car of all time!

One day I'll add another one to my collection!
