Mine passed 2 years ago with no advisories

12 months later it failed on....

handbrake efficiency,
perished handbrake cables,
worn rear disks,
rear brake proportioning valve being sticky,
a worn shock absorber on the drivers side and
a detached rubber exhaust mount!

Oh Lordy, my MOT is due in September

nice one gj88, best mine ever got was the horn not working which I fixed by switching the wires over from one horn to the other and "honk honk", "here you go mate, here's you certificate"

Time to do the belts and oil cooler then. Aux belts are a biannual job.

Aux belts done a couple of months ago and the oil cooler and pipes are a year old. Cam belt will be done in the next 6 months I think.

Next up....dent removal and a Patch detail. Maybe a flea map. Mmmmm.

Thats what I'm hoping for. She's been looking a little tired recently. I've been far too busy to keep her looking tip top although I've got a bit of free time now so she'll be back to her best in no time hopefully

Ahhh, I keep remembering other things that need doing to. I must get the wheels refurbed asap. I suppose that would lift the appearance no end.

The LE kit makes a huge difference to the car too, cant get over how much better mine looks now whilst still keeping it original

It's very very tempting but I'm not sure. It seems like a lot of standard 20vt's are being modified so i'll feel a little hint of guilt when I visit the auto DS site. Maybe if I had an original LE kit, I'd feel like I'm doing the car justice?
