It's with heavy heart that I may have to place my almost standard 1999 T reg Fiat Coupe 20vt up for sale, It has been a labour of love(although not as much as others on here!), but circumstances will be changing for the worse (financially) in the next couple of months and I have bought a Peugeot 406Td hack to try and cut back on costs commuting to work. The plan was to keep the coop as a weekend car, but we are now a 3 car house hold and we can't afford to be at this time.
The problem is that I am at a loss on how much my car will be worth.
Brief history:-
I purchased this car in 2006 for £2300 from someone at work with 115,000 on the clock. bodywork was ok, however The bottom end started knocking. I managed to source a new engine from Rog(poweritalia) with a mere 600 miles on the clock. Which went in. around may that year + New belts and Clutch. Shortly after new brakes all round, Also oil cooler pipes replaced.
It also has a poweritalia catback exhaust fitted in 2007 to replace the origianal.
Then I sent my turbo which started smoking to Midland Turbo and had it refurbished. Also brand new suspension all round(Shocks/Track rod ends/ bushes/ droplinks) in 2008.
The car has had a full service at the beginning of each year feb/march at Poweritalia regardless of milage with an oil/filter change hafway through the year.
I have only done 40,000 since 2006.
These pictures need updating but give some idea, the new advert will have up to date pictures.
Clicky So to summarise.
1.Standard Coop
2.Good engine
3.Average to good Bodywork.
4.Full Service History + Poweritalia looking after from when I purchased it.
5.Driven conservatively, only the occasional blast (with mechanical sympathy in mind!)
Would I be pushing the boat out to expect £1300?
Regards
Austin
