I've tried Car Plan Original Black. Well apart from a nice lemony smell !! It hasnt revived the trim. In fact centre console handbrake area, if anything looks slightly grey now.

Any better products out there?

Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care is excellent.

I like a more of a matte look so usually just use a damp cloth to give the dash clean.

Very lightly, and don't spray directly on the surface (just on the cloth), you could use Back to Black. It's meant for black plastic (outside) trim and bumpers, but will bring up any black plastic whether inside or out.

I'd avoid spraying the stuff inside the cabin though, it's silicon based (hence the long lasting nature of the stuff), but you don't want it getting on the leather/glass/steering wheel.

I find back to black type productrs are ok on the hard shiney surfaces such as the dash but any polish at all messes up the rubbery finish of the centre console.

as above I just use a damp cloth on the interior

Agree the damp cloth is the best option for cleaning. It's colour restoration that I really need.
Does the Autoglym actually darken the surface after you've used it Matty?
