While I had the back seats oot to take care of my ABS fault,I also threw a 6mm cable in from the engine bay to the boot.
Today I thought I would complete the fuel pump mod and it is dead easy guys.
Got the relay and maxi fuse holder from Maplins.
The wiring is dead easy and I just cut a bit out of the plastic cover for the 2 cables.
I picked up a good earth from the rear seat fixing bolt.
Checked voltage before and about 12.2 volts.
Checked after and 13.9 volts with engine running.
I make about a 10% increase in pump speed.
Well worth while in my opinion.
Just got to fit the 3.8 FPR now.
