Just saw this today:

Alfa Romeo planning giulietta sprint coupe
Italian article but with more pics

Looks nice - wonder whether it will see the light of day

The back is nice but not sure on the 8C/Mito front they insist on putting on all their new models.

Like it alot, it will no doubt have Alfa's new 1.7t 200bhp engine, it will need my power than that to keep up with the competition....

Just like my Alfa the bumper colour doesn't quite match that of the body.

I can't help thinking they've lost their way. frown

They made plenty of well proportioned saloon cars, then they made the 8C, and now everything they do is an ugly sister to the 8C.

I think going the scaled-down 159 route would have been nicer personally.

I agree - the back is quite nice, though the front I am not convinced about. As skinflint says, everything now seems to be a watered down, and uglified version of the 8C (which looks totally awesome in the flesh, and in pics for that matter)

This new Coupe is certainly one to look at after a couple of years depreciation!

It looks like a miserable collection of shattered dreams.

Its as if the designers really wanted to sculpt a work of art with soul.

However, it appears that their passion was flushed down the toilet and they were forced to go down the unoriginal and tiresome route of making it look like the obese child of the the Alfa 8c and the Renault Laguna Coupe.

Still looks better than 99% of cars on the road though.

That wasn't designed.

That was some sick perverted experiment

That was what happened when a Puegeot cc, a Ford Puma and a Alfa Mito had a 3 way.

Althought I really like the feature, I can't see the one piece side windows working out.

Initially I didn't like it, but looking at the whole car I think it looks fantastic. Just give a v6 and it will be perfect.

Nothing about it looks good to me. The back looks like a puegeot CC. the mid section looks like a puma and the front looks like the mito with puegeot come mito headlights....least thats how it looks to me.

It's a cuddly mumsie coupe. Cute in a, she'd make someone a lovely wife, kinda way. But not something thats going to make you feel bad and dirty wink

They just photoshopped the roof and rear of an 8c onto the Guillietta. The coupe version is going to be rather different.
