No it's a 16vt.

I'm not sure if the front lower brace will clear the exhaust downpipe on a 20vt certainly won't clear the big bracket that goes over the downpipe.

But isnt the front part of this brace just like the 156 OMP lower brace, except it just adds an extra brace behind. This additional structure appears to function similar to the subframe welding mod by strengthening the fore-aft plane?

I remember a similar if not same set up being discussed on here before. There was a technical explanation how the extra framework did little if anything more than Nigels bottom single brace.

I'm an old git & happy with it,most of the time

Absolutely - there's zero point in that square brace - the rear bar is merely spanning the rear section of the subframe, which is massively strong anyway

The ONLY way that a four-point brace *might* be of any use is if it was triangulated to prevent the subframe going out of square (something that my brace won't prevent)

Where are the prices? The UK importers don't list any of the Coop parts on their website.

Thinking about some more braces as I'm impressed with the OMP front upper brace (no more squeaky dashboard!)

No problems smile
Hehe that looks good! But very close to the downpipe.

Can you tell me the distance between brace and ground?
Did you modify it in any way before installation?

Yes, its about 2-3mm from the downpipe, so I lifted the exhaust a little bit with a new mount smile

No other modifications needed.

Sorry, but the car is on axle stands for the moment. Waiting for the new starter motor to arrive smile
