I popped over to Bob's place yesterday to get some help fitting my eibach springs. The springs were used and fairly rusty so Bob had stripped them back and repainted them ready to go on my coupe. Not only did he do this, but he also fitted my strut brace, fixed a couple of electrical problems, fitted a drilled airbox and gave my coupe a general tart up love

Also kudos for putting up with my numerous silly questions and one or two moments of complete brain fade blush

So a big thanks to the big man for all his effort and of course to Trish for preparing the bacon butties to keep us going laugh

And before I forget, here's a photo of my coupe sitting nice a low on its new eibachs

That's a lovely looking car, how did you manage to dent the side by the badge?

Indeed!

Thanks for the comments guys. The dent on the side by the Pininfarina badge was there when I bought the car, I think a paintless dent removal guy should be able to fix it. That's next on the "to do" list smile

Sweet Jesus that looks good. I saw Nello's car on Friday and cant get Eibach's out of my head now. I must get a set soon!

Is the car on standard shocks?

Yes mate, she's running on standard shocks. I thought I'd try them first rather than splashing out on a set of bilsteins. It certainly feels stiffer than before but not uncomfortably so, and it feels more planted now on fast corners although the strut brace probably helps too.

This is my thinkng too. Eventually I'd plump for shocks too but for now the springs will do. How does the damping feel now?

Go for it Gary thumb As long as theres decent life in your shocks they'll be fine with Eibachs. Yes it'll feel stiffer and yes it'll probably be better with Billies but unless you're using it regularly on the track or have plenty of spare cash - Eibachs with standards are fine IMO......
