I need input from members regarding an idea I have for fitting the 5 point safety harness.

I am about to fit the seats and the safety harnesses and I would like some opinions regarding the shoulder belt mountings.

I am considering mounting the shoulder belts so that they run on the old seatbelt retracting system (relocated to the back of the car) with the option of a manual lock out.

For everyday use the seatbelt system will give you some freedom of movement with option of manually bypassing the seatbelt system for spirited driving.

Just an idea.
