I really do like angel eyes but I think they're kind of dated now.

a few too many manufacturers have jumped on the audi bandwagon - hence starting to look a bit too common and therefore passe - resist the temptation!

This is obviously a personal choice & I'm no guru on such things but at least the angel eyes look kind of doesn't look, not too out of place on any car. Even if you accept the natural round shape of nature laugh Right this may sound a bit gay but I do think I have a point somewhere in there laugh

It's not a case of other marques "jumping on the Audi bandwagon". All cars produced from Feb 2011 onwards will have to have Daytime running lights (DRL's) by law, blame Brussels for that one.

Coopless!

Yes Pinin is right. Bloody EU. I've touched on this subject before, elsewhere. There is more to this than just sticking some drl's on your car( to me anyway), but I think I will leave that for another time. rotate

Bloody EU and their safety, my personal protest consists of deactivating my airbags. In your face brussels.

I remember when Ted Heath took us kicking & screaming into the EU (EEC then).Aye & the French & Germans didnt want us in. Personally, especially so for Scotland, I thought what a bad idea then & even a worse idea now. I'm sure someone will be along & put me right & show me why we should be with the EU. rolleyes

Angels are the one for me was going use just fog light ones as tuning lights but couldn't find the right size ring anywhere and even asked on here and got absolutely no replies so good luck finding them!!

I tell you what I did do though I brought a pair of H1 led bulbs and although I had to drill the hole in the foglight a tad bigger and had to remove the deflector plate thingy I like very much!!

Now feel up to date

didn't know about the DRL rule, but by "jumping on the audi bandwagon" I meant with adopting the LED strips. Out of the two (if you must) I'd go with the angel eyes as there're just a bit more discrete. The LEDs are very in your face. Each to his own though.

If you were going to do this i'd think about opening up the head lamps and running them across the bottom edge and up the outer side about 4 inches.

I'd be interested to see what this looks like. Might look naff, might pull it off
