22mm whiteline rear arb or eibach arb set? #1093830

As topic, which would be better?

I had the rear arb on my last 20vt and tbh it went on with a load of other stuff but the total effect was awesome - something I'm not feeling right now.

Would the eibach kit be any better or is the front arb just not needed?

I had the rear Eibach fitted on it's own for a month or two, the front was fitted when the clutch was replaced.

It was only with both fitted that I could really feel the difference through the corners, so much flatter than before.

Certainly a front roll bar reduces body roll however as the weight transfer is increased as well it can result in more understeer. One of my customers races very successfully with a FWD car with NO front roll bar at all.
Unfortunately the answer is rarely simple it depends on so many variables.
p.s we have both 22mm and 24mm whiteline bars in stock again!

I've been working hard to get rid of understeer, but now it's got a lot of lift-off-oversteer. A Dedra or Eibach front ARB might be something?

A rear ARB is next on my list. What price are yours?

Hi
just playing devils advocate for a minute - why are you lifting off? The point of the stiffer rear arb is you should be able to get on the power earlier and exit the bend faster. You should also be able to enter more quickly too. Granted driving style will require adjustment.
The bars are £122 each however we have a special discount on Whiteline until end of the month this link brings up the bar with the extra discount added

Suppose that was a comment for me?
Well you do have to lift-off once in a while, you can't just floor it 100%. For one thing, you'd have to stop at some point and sleep - it's dangerous to drive 24hrs, all year around - especially at full whack. smile
Anyway, I'm sure it would be harmless if I had just put the Whiteline there and not done all the rest of the mods. wink
That said it doesn't bother me, I do like it and the handling is very good now. It's just that whiff of understeer left at hard cornering, it's a bit soft upfront still.
