Just how many of these beasties are presumed to have been created/still exist?

I know there's always a bit of a kerfuffle when one pops up - and I contemplated buying the neglected London one previously (wonder what happened to that when the tax ran out - I was just too busy to chase it up).

Reason for asking - there's been one randomly popping up in the next road to me for a few weeks now. Think he might be visiting as it's never around when I walk the dog round that way. I followed him for a mile or so yesterday, in my own Coupe, but there was no acknowledgement or even apparent recognition (despite mine being newly waxed and particularly shiny laugh ). Funny thing was, the rear bumper was massively faded just like the London one, but the plate wasn't the same - this one is W*** YKK.

There was one local to me I used to see all the time! I even added a card and pointed them in the direction of the forum. Nver got any acknowledgement from them at all! I stopped trying and guessed it was just a car to them! Not seen it for 6 months now!

It did and then CarlT sold it to Solo along with a Sprint 6 speed.

Mythical? Quite a few RHD banana Pluses knocking around here (no more rare than any other colour, certainly).

I know this isn't Blighty, but Fiat sure did make plenty of 'em. Just not much of a market for custard cars in the UK I guess.

The only way to be certain is to look at the shell of the car as they are slightly different.

All the other stuff can be bolted on after.

thats what I mean - I was sure I recall one being touted as a plus was actually just a 20VT 6 speed with added extras

I'd agree if I hadn't owned a custard Punto, Sei and Coupe and my wife a Cinq and Barchetta laugh

I was one of the first to see that when it arrived in James Twists. love

So glad when Dave bought it as I hadn't had my Sprinty 6 long and was seriously tempted to do a p/x. ooo

It's still the only Banana Plus I've seen along with a Sprinty Plus (Ed's) and a Pearly at Tatton Park a couple of years ago (now that was a disappointment). shocked
