I have a TOAD Ai606 fitted to my 20VT, been on a while now.

Recently the central locking started intermittently playing up i.e. the remote would arm/disarm the alarm, but not always operate the central locking.

It has now become permanent - all other aspects of the alarm & immobiliser work fine & the CODE system remains unaffected.

Could this be an easy fix? i.e. faulty electrical connection.

As it's quite old, & originally had a DIY installation by the looks of it & some of the wiring is very untidy & poorly routed etc.

So I'm thinking of just having a new one fitted - can anyone recomend a fitter around the Coventry/Nuneaton area that will do this at a good price? - pref someone who has installed on a Coupe before wink & can remove the existing system properly & fit new one

Thanks in advance

This fella might be of some use - call Brian at (what used to be) Swad ICE (07813584009).

He had a shop in Burton for years (Swad ICE, well established and well known in the area) and fitted the Ai606 to my 20VT. He has since shut up shop to go mobile, so Coventry/Nuneaton would be no problem for him, and obviously he Thantcham/insurance approved.

Plus I have known him since I was a toddler and he's a thoroughly nice bloke, which helps...
