I dont think I was around when they first came to light, so I dont know how difficult they are to produce, but what I do know is that a new batch would sell like hotcakes!

I'm currently finishing a thesis and also hunting for a new job, but I intend to prototype a new batch shortly - some hint of numbers would be useful... what I have found previously is that I get about five times as many people absolutely must have one as eventually pay...

I would expect the price - still to be confirmed - to be somewhere in the £130-£150 region. I need to price current parts and availability.

Im so happy with my MK1 i would definitely be in for a new version of the widget! I hope there will be a choice of mounting plates though as im a fan of the original aluminium over the carbon fibre!

I'm still getting prices, but it's looking likely. I'm probably going to take a flier - several hundred quid outlay to find out if an alternate design works (a chip specifically designed to drive the KL lines has become available in single units, rather than the ten thousand I'd have had to buy a couple of years ago).

Yes there will be left hand versions. It's a different plate - Fiat were not so kind as to mirror the fascia - if you look you'll see that the left and right hand vent cutouts are different. I'm afraid it's carbon fibre only, though - you could paint to match the body strip perhaps?

No there won't be any circular ones, unless the circle diameter is, um, square root 75^2 + 43^2 = 87mm minimum... colour choice is likely to be green or nothing this time, I'm afraid. There will definitely be no smilies. Except for one that laughs like a loon when Mr Tickle's engine explodes...

I can make the MKIV again, but there are occasional issues with it talking to 20v ECUs. I'd rather use a chip designed for the job, for improved robustness. Hence the MKV. This doesn't change the software or the display (it's just that they seem to have stopped making some variants of the display).
