I went into a really nice wetherspoons, massive airy pub and dead chilled. Free wifi and ate a mahoosive brekkie. I enjoyed my day out in Bristol, and the drive back more so!

The M25 almost killed me this morning, crap coup headlights, 5:30am, and enough standing water to float the Queen Mary. I passed 4 accidents on my way here, including a skyline which had T-boned the central reservation!

Well, I'm leaving Bristol now........just not in a Fiat Coupe .

What's going on mate?

Basically the immobiliser (OEM or recently fitted aftermarket) is playing games and we couldn't start the car. He had to be towed back to base by the AA. The code light stays on and nothing Flea could do today would get it working.

New coding chip on the ECU is Flea's next port of call.

Ah well - at least you get to keep the prize - nobody guessed 0 bhp and 0 lb-ft

I had a similar problem when I went, it broke down on him when he was driving it.

Will be well worth it when it's done.

Well....today Flea tried to start my car up using the emergency startup procedure (using the code on my blue card). It didn't work.

New ECU on its way to Flea. He is going to disable the Fiat immobiliser permanently. I've recent got a Thatham 1 after market job anyway.

Just a little while longer peeps.....then we WILL have a winner.

Flea has fixed the problem .

Result WILL be up this Saturday!

You do realise Phil, that would require 28,750rpms to attain that power!

Anyway despite the issues, car is now runnning great and feels pretty darn sprightly! The key component of this setup is the full Blueflame 2.75" exhaust... got to let that engine breathe in and out.

Saw your car today Jintel. Looks very tidy and I'd enjoy the drive to Kent from here too!
