Hi any one know if it is still possible to get these for a 2ovt. I did try on specialist who informed me that they were no longer made as they had caused problems for the 20vt. Any one fitted these or had any problems with them.

Problems with them is they rub on the wheel arch, which in turn's, makes them leak / explode! This has happened to our resident brake nutter Nigel, twice!!!!

I've had no problems (so far) with the 3rd generation braided hoses. They're shorter than normal, which means they don't have to flex as much when the suspension compresses.

However, after the two previous brown-trouser moments, Im still keeping a close eye on them!

We could try to state the obvious and say go slower but owning a coop it will never happen lol im happy with my cheapy standard ones that take the abuse well and have 3 doughnuts on each side now to help them last a bit longer

I still have a set of Goodridge Braided Hoses sat in the box, new and untouched. Bought them ages ago. Not sure what to do with them now.

H - send them back to Goodridge and ask for replacement with the 3rd gen type (shorter, with two donuts per hose)

TomG - Goodridge - direct from the factory.

get straight in touch with Goodridge at Exeter - they're VERY aware of the issue. You should also mention that one of their dealers is unaware of the issue and was unhelpful.
