I think a few people ran the 55 profile 888's at Spa, I dont remember anyone having any problems.

I run Toyo 215/50/16 888s on track.Its common knowledge that i think they are fantastic.On a wet track they are good as well. 55s i have no idea,but not to much difference i would guess.

They will be fine in terms of fit, but your car will be a little higher geared due to running larger diameter tyres, so your acceleration will be reduced very slightly.

Yup bearly noticeable....didn't stop me overtaking quite a few others until I fell of track

countrycruising was running 888's at spa and he said they were very good even in the wet

friend put some 888 on a evo 7 i know different car but we went to car park in very heavy rain full lock and pinned it didnt step out once , although we did go over manhole cover and it step a little then so if use them on roads in wet try and avoid road markings and manhole covers
as a side a note too about running slick tyres my friend was told not to use them on a noble m12 gto as it will break the diff as the traction is too good (m400 is fine it has uprated parts over the gto) is this same for the coupe?
