We have been working hard with Neil Willies insurance to secure a special Weekend Track day cover package for our attendees of SPA 2011.

The cover is normally offered at £87.38 per day/session but we have managed to secure a deal and the company are happy to offer cover for both the 4th & 5th June subject to there being a minimum of 30 cars taking up the deal and requiring no more than 4 hours track time in total over the two days for the same premium, £87.38.  This price does include a £10 administration charge. 

The policy would provide Accidental Damage Cover for the vehicle whilst on the track, upto a maximum value of £7999 per vehicle, subject to a £1000 Excess.  

The policy can be taken out by UK and Non UK Residents.  If cover is required then it will be issued on an individual vehicle basis and details of the vehicles value would need to be assessed.

Not too bothered about insurance, one of the benefits of having a car that's worth more once it's written off than it is complete

Don't bother with track day insurance on those grounds alone. Before adding that to the cost of all the days I do would total a fair bit, which is much better used on fuel, tyres, brakes, oh and oil

Some poeople use these as their everyday cars...
Therefore the insurance would be a good option.
If you write your car off on the track your normal insurance will not cover you. At least in this case you will have a pre defined agreed value.

I'm with proccy, closer to the time I'll look into it.

As long as the damage is not to bad,there will be a few of us with trailors.So we can get it into the nearest ditch outside the track !
