Hi All,

Im in the process of making my interior sparkling. I am going to replace my tired mats with some new ones.

I have decided to go for another set of original coupe mats.

But i dont understand how the fixings for them work.

My current mats have got some holes in (but no fixings) i cant see where they would attach to the car even if i did have the fixings?

If anyone can shed some light on this I would be most grateful.

The fixings should be in the floor of the car.
I'm guessing your mats have a couple of oblong holes in them?
Mine has oblong fixings in the floor that you slide the mats onto and twist 90 degrees to hold the mats in place.
No idea if the LE has them though...

I think the fixings can be screwed on and off the carpet.

Yes the mats have two holes but i dont have any fixings from the carpet.

The original mats Im going to buy come with fixings apparently. I wounder if these can simply be attached to the carpet like SKINT suggests?

Anyone confirm this?

Indeed you can use the supplied screw to fix your mat to the floor.
