Has one been built?

After reading posts about rust I'm thinking maybe it would be a good idea to produce one to save that classic shape before they all inevitably rust away.

This is a long way from happening, I'm more thinking of ideas at the moment.

So far I have:

Space frame chassis
Carbon fibre body
Longitudinally, front mounted engine driving a rear mounted gearbox (Porsche style)
Probably only a two seater
Using the 20vt motor tweaked for extra grunt (supercharged?)
And the big one; a car to be used every day.

Okay more of a wish list than ideas.

What do people think then? Any considerations?

Wouldn't there be a shed load of issues with copyright?

I'm not sure, I don't intend to sell them. I'm thinking of building a one off.

I've always wanted FIAT to make me a brand new one so i could keep it forever
