I am up for it, haven't polished but plan on bring some stuff along, I will need to pay on the door though.

I was planning on bringing a couple of fold up chairs, perhaps some cold drinks, camera and video camera, anything else I should pack?

Well, I spent a couple of hours cleaning, polishing and waxing my Coupe this morning.
I arrived at the hotel about an hour ago and the car is black at the front from all the splattered insects grr
Not cleaning it now though, I'm having a pint laugh

Crapping it down in Portsmouth (Hampshire) right now. Let's hope it's just the sky's emptying themselves for a good day tomorrow.

Payed a visit to halfords this morning, got myself one of there medium car covers, only £40 and a good fit too. After spending 7 hours cleaning there's no way i'm leaving the birds to use the coupe for target practice! For the last few weeks every time i've wash it the next morning it's covered in sh*t!

Excellent day as Paul says - other than the (predictable) third degree burns to my neck (again) laugh

One plus from the "terrain" we were parked on was that with one flick of the wipers I literally meant the words "eat my dust" to the R32 that wanted to practice the art of carriage weaving on way back loser

A very enjoyable day, a good drive round the Mercedes test track and a blast up the hill climb driving

Good to see faces old and new. Nursed the car home with its ever increasingly juddering brakes. The front discs are looking like the soil in Sudan shocked

Was an excellent day cool

Was having a brilliant tussle with a Skoda Felicia (new type I think). Don't know what's in them, but it was going and handling well.
I had to back off and then let him go past eventually, as I was extremely low on fuel and still had a distance to go before I got to a petrol station frown
He was probably wondering what was going on when I backed off laugh
I need one of those scrolling signs, I could have explained to him then, that I'd have loved to have carried on, but I need petrol and am going to be stranded if we carry on the way we are laugh

A good end to the day, with a lovely sunset on the way home cool

Was lovely to see the usual people and great to finally meet some of the ones I've 'known' on here for a while, but don't think I'd ever have got to meet if I hadn't travelled down.

I know there was also a lot of people I missed and never had chance to meet, but hopefully, will do another time and I'm sorry if I didn't make it to you.

Thanks to everyone for going and I believe there was 63 Coupes in total cool

And one Quanturbo - which is in disgrace, having dumped me at the side of the A41 not five miles from home...

Something to do with the feed to the fuel pump is the best me and the pickup guy could come up with... I'll investigate further in the morning, since it's supposed to be at Stoneleigh in Staffs. in the morning.

Bad Quantum, Bad!

What a cracker of a day cool Met some great people, saw and heard some great machines and wished the day had been a bit longer. Thoroughly enjoyed the test hill and track events. Had a fun drive back round M25 with a ferrari and a couple of other fiats which rounded off the day well. Thanks to Tim and Rob for the welcome this morning.

Aye that's the one... Staffs, Warks, they're all the same if they're not the West Riding of Yorkshire...

well, what can i say!

the fist big meet of the year and what a fantastic meet it was!!!!

test track was great.... shame we didnt get 4 laps frown and we didnt get a chance to really have a good play on track.

Begbie - your car mate... WOW.

big well done to you for sticking with the car and getting it to the first show its been to in over 5 years laugh

hill climb was great, that rounds up my 8th time doing it, doubt i will do it again as its a bit harsh on the coupe...

great turn out for the club! 63 + 1 (cant forget quanturbo) coupes! doing the club proud! smile

nice to meet you all!

Great day out - had some fun with a Diablo and an Integrale on the M25 back to Kent which just finished the day off nicely.

Many thanks to Jake as well - put me to shame, but taught me a few bits as well thumb .
