Hi,
I'm asking if some of us run with ext wg and t3 turbo housing. I bought a 3582 and I need some advice for mainfold design. Or for a seller ,if somebody tested his mainfolds(T3+ext wg.)
Happy New Year for everybody laugh !

send me your email adresses and ill send some pics ..i had to pay £1100 for mine and that was with discount for buying a couple..thats over 1300 euros nap..(i wish there had been another way as its financially wrecked me finishing this car! it'll take me 6 months to recover!) i could have used the italian one thats on ebay a lot cheaper (the john s one) but from what i can gather it was taken off in the end anyway..although it was expensive it is made of excellent materials and really is a well made substantial piece of kit and its a proper equal length where the italian one isn't..like most things in life you get what you pay for..the pics were before it was coated its now been ceramic coated inside and out by the same guys that do the mercedes le mans cars with the same coating as with the turbo i am using being air cooled i want to get as much heat out as possible

Napraznicul@yahoo.com ...1300euro to me seems to be slight overpriced...I don't need ceramic coating and other cosmetic fancy things that I think mean almost nothing in dragrace use (and fiat coupe 20vt ISN'T a track car due to weight balance..maybe if somebody make a conversion to mid-engine) ... I need just dynamic performance and for sure I'll find that next few months.
ktm450exc ,you have a 1/4mile ET ? If the car is posted on torquestats with dragstrip ticket, please give me a link. I want to see how efficient ratio investment/performance you reach laugh.
Cheers,
PS: I found here a complete(suspension arms, dampers, springs, etc, etc) AWD dedra 16vt transmission for 200euro... sometimes patience is everithing:D...last year when I searching for, lowest price was about 550euro

result on the dedra awd find ..200 euros is stealing it laugh

the ceramic coating isn't for cosmetics i will be driving this car on long journies and if you had seen the size of the turbo and the fact everything is so close i want to get as much heat out of the bay as possible..trust me on this ..if i didn't feel it was sensible to do so i would not have had it done as i am trying to spend as little as possible...obviously if you are just running 1/4 miles and do not use it as a daily driver then heat matters not..it does for me though

as for cost there is not much one can do when there are only 3 or 4 manifolds on the market for external wastegate a couple of which you wouldn't want if you were expecting big figures anyway so the only 2 real options are the italian or the one i bought but... i will say this again.. the quality is exceptional! the materials are better than anyone else uses and its genuinely an equal length..it is the best manifold available so i had no choice but to buy that one..the price was without the ceramic coating but we bought this spec with the external gate set up as it was best for what we are trying to acieve but there are other specs and material grades available as well as without external gate ...i am happy we got what we paid for
