Probably the 'sports' brakes, part number RD.009.000 for cross-drilled. As far as I know they are equivalent to the standard LE/Plus discs.

I personally don't have anything against them, although there are better discs out there and some people don't like them. Most of the time, it's about finding the good pad-disc combination. Part Brembo 07.8301.11 is the brake pad that should go with this disc.

I have no personal expierience with them, but i am gathering info on drilled or slotted. It seem's that alot of folk's say the drilled tend to collect gunk in the hole's.

Yep, the standard LE discs will block up with brake dust after a short while.
My fix for this was to re-drill the holes to 5mm (instead of the standard 3mm I think) and countersink the holes (the standard LE ones aren't)to prevent any cracking.
Worked a treat, no blockages and no cracks.

Part number is FD.029.000 (for the 16VT)
Brembo drilled discs

But from comments i guess i should look for the slotted ones.

If you can afford the proper LE disks (£200 from AlternativeAutos) i would go for them... purly because they look far far better IMO smile

Im on this set-up to (not sure if mine are brembo or LE disc though) and they are just fine. Been on track 3 times this year and had no issues.

brembo sports grooved discs - so far very good well over 18 months later, and the pads appear to be in excellent condition too cool

And they are not collecting "crap" and loosing some of the break/cooling ability? (like someone said)

mine aren't, no - but i don't think the grooved ones are as prone to that as the drilled ones. also, once the pagid yellows are warm, they bite in a big way, very confidence inspiring

Holes or grooves is disks don't really add to the cooling ability of the Disk so don't be too concerned.

Holes are there to allow the gas produced by the pad to escape through the disk instead of around the pad material. Grooves are designed to clean the pad face and give maximum performance of the pad.

So if i'm buying new Discs over the original ones, the Grooved are better then the Drilled ones?

Only if you do track days or have a lead right foot.

Any groove or hole in a disk is going to reduce the friction area but it's such a small amount that it's probably undetectable.

Did you ever suffer from brake fade on the disks pads you're currently running or are you upgrading the engine to produce more power?

Just finised to upgrade the engine and running around 300-320hp so in case of emergency (and for future upgrades) i need bigger break power.
I don't need it for track days.

If you've increased engine power then I'd definitely improve the brakes, slotted disks and a good quality pad like the Pagid Yellows would work well.

The Pagid disc will be better than the Brembo sport disc

I used to run Pagid discs on my first Coupe - I don't think they're available for the 20vt any longer

I have the Pagid disks on mine, exactly the same as your first link (except mine are 20vt obviously) I run them with Pagid Blue pads and it's a very good combination.

For you in your warm climate, I'd go for the Yellows as the temps are already 40 degs hotter to start with!

Do you know if this combination of pads and cross drilled discs work; I've spoken to Carnoisseur and Brembo who say the combination is spot on - in fact they bundled the package for me.
Problem is the guys at Glyn Hopkins wouldn't pass the car over after fittment of the front combination as he was experiencing judder. I don't believe them for one sec but just wanted to know if this is the combination you guys are using.

I ran the same pads as you (on DBA fronts discs/Tarox big rear disc) with zero judder and no squeals either.

I see no reason discs would make a difference to judder.
