proccy Unregistered P	absolutely gutted to hear this mate, after all the love and hard work you've put into that car too (not to mention expense!) lets have some pics and see how it is, it might not be that bad - would it bother you if it was a write-off but good enough to repair like barnacles? could end up better off!! anything i can do, just ask - and still come to donington and you can share the driving with me mate, no worries

Marco20valveT Unregistered M	Stevo - yer we could make one out of 2 lol Barnacle - looks like mine was next in line... Dave - I'm fine, just gutted, heart broken with a weird sence of emptiness... Sounds but I'm sure people know the feeling... I will get pics up over the next few days guys.. From what I can see, the bumper needs a attention, the drivers side light cluster corner (next to the boot) has pushed in, boot lock does not work, boot lid is hard to shut... Scared to look what's underneath.... Insurance repair may be a nail in the coffin for my sprinty.

It would not borher me one bit, I would do any thing to keep my coupe alive and kicking. But sone times you need to look at reality of it.... And your bank balance. The dad of the guy who hit me was nice, he also told me his son was skint but they will do what's needed. So I got there insurance details.

For what its worth they may well make you a offer of payment in lew of repair instead of writing it off. You get to keep the car and the money... I hope its not that bad however! On a more postative note at least this insurance claim will be a easy one to go though and should be sorted quite quickly. Chin up chap

I've had to settle for somewhat less than a full repair cost to avoid his insurance company writing my car off... but the repair if you use s/h will be a lot less than an official estimate.
