I'm 46, a cop, on a '97 20VT sprintie as a toy, I like having a car to strip, paint, lick clean to fulfill my OCD and keep me away from my wife and kids. Main car is an Audi S8, I've got an Impreza sitting there also, bit of a petrolhead all in all.
Been spannering since I was 12 (My dad was in the trade) built my first engine at 17 and been fixing cars ever since.
Spent yesterday detailing my arch liners and touching up the paintwork on my front shocks, how bad/mad is that????

Jamie 30, technical author in the aircraft industry, on my second coupe which is car 42 on the list of financial misfortune over the years. When I get the chance I also spend what little money I have left on my bike. If there's any left after that my wife and three children spend it on useless things like food and clothes

Mr tickle was first seen in 1971, he was the first of many. He has extraordinary long arms and loves to tickle. Track days can be a bit trickey though with these long weedy arms. Lives in Happyland (Near Wales)

There seems to be of theme of services and twenty somethings! You guys get a deal on insurance? You can get deals like Towergate and wilsons do good deals for servicemen but I have never found them that cheap to be honest they also do you cover for having a car on an airfield etc. I think why there tends to be a number of us youngens from the forces with performance cars is the spare capital we tend to get with the reasonably cheap living accomodation etc maybe a factor and also op allowances aswell for going away a lot.
