Well it depends actually.
If I have the dough, I'll get them new.
With warranties, all new rubbers(tyres, beltings and etc) and if you haggle can even get them to respray for ya provided it is the same color.

Getting a used one no matter how low mileage will still be a used coupe.

Warranties, no timing belt snapping, leather smells and new seats!
Coupe is prone to rusting??

Hi, I'm the guy that ikon spoke to in Asda's car park in Crawley. Not too happy about being called "old" but happy to see that I'm "nice"! I haven't logged on for a while so apologies for the late reply.

My Coupe is 2000 Turbo Plus in Electric Blue and yes, it had all new rubber bits, at least what I could see, including tyres and it had delivery mileage, but a bit more than 5 asit camefrom Kuala Lumpur, a 5 hour drive away! The price included a new Sony radio/CD and insurance. It was still expensive at 120000 Ringgits, or about 25000 pounds at today's rate, BUT if I had wanted to export it, I would have bought it in Langkawi duty free, at half the price, but I now live in Malaysia so I couldn't do that as cars bought duty free must stay in Langkawi (an island).

When I bought it in November 2008, the importer had 12 or so left but I don't know if they have any now. I've had little problem with the car except that the brake servo packed up very soon after delivery; that was replaced under warranty. The airbag warning light has just come on but I haven't had time to go back to the agent about that yet.
