So, today was the day, last pics of the carcass making it's way to the pearly gates.

Not as emotional as Nigel's car, especially given I've owned it for 6 months and driven hardly anything by comparison. But still, she looked a sorry state.

Now the driveway's been reclaimed, now to reclaim the garage/shed. Soooooo, parts still available, check my breaking thread. Plug plug laugh

Damn thing was almost welded on, and it was generally knackered underneath. I didn't leave much on it, as you can see smile

Calipers, discs and pads - knackered
Sidewings - ok could have
Rear light surrounds - all 4 bubbling badly
Locks - there is a limit I'm prepared to go
Steering wheel - wouldn't come off for love or money

Things that were still ok;
Gearbox,
inlet manifold

I just timed out, and I wanted it gone too. As did my neighbours!

We will all regret letting windscreens and rear screens go one day.

Even the breaker said it'll all get crushed Joe, although he commented on how nice it was that the car was broken, as opposed to all crushed. 'Back in the day' he said, he'd have stripped all the glass out, and only the shell would get crushed. Just not cost effective to store all the parts in a general breakers yard. And he told me the machinery would cut the car before it got crushed, and would get cut right through the block shocked
