After 16 months i'm now BACK into Vickstars old Coupe! Its either been a long time or the previous only has really worked hard but ooh my... the power of that thing! For a 20v N/A (VIS) It really flies! I was shocked by the difference to that and the Alfa.

Glad to be back though smile Truly lovely car!

On another note... anyone know how i can peel stickers off without damaging the paint work?

Just warm then up with a hair dryer, then peel them off.

Any sticky residue try using a tar remover, failing that, meths.

Then wax polish as the meths will have removed all previous polish.

16VT and X1/9 1500 + e208 Peugeot

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
I even unplugged my own.

Lighter fuel is excellent for glue residue removal too - followed by Pete's tip re a good polishing.

WD40 removes sticky residue without harming the paint, and the smell, Mmmmmm, love the smell of the stuff.

I wondered who owned that atrocious coloured vehicle in the car park ! I spotted you opening the taps this morning.

I am looking out of my window at work and its pretty obvious you wanted it "spotted".

Now take it away as its making me jealous*

* of buying a turbo of course, not a N/A wink

I wouldnt say i was really "opening the taps" just giving it a bit of a blip between speed bumps rolleyes and i have to park it on the other side of the car park as i cant get over that big speed bump going out, only in!

Although I am glad it's been spotted now as it's been parked under trees in the far flung cover of the car park...

P.S Did you see me driving from the window or outside? As i want to know how loud it is? Because i cant remember it being that loud! shocked

Then thats good! Actually louder then i thought! Although i would like the speed bumps in front of the building removed so i can boot it under the canopy for an in tunnel almost effect but i reckon security would tell me off!

Ahwell, i've enjoyed booting it now and i'm back in drive slowly/eco/cant be bothered mode!

Plus getting 36 mpg compared to the Alfa's 28 mpg!
