Tried to buy some Pagid Greys today for Donington on the 13th March, however no stock left and they won't be getting any for another 10 days. At present I've got worn out Yellowstuff. I'm been happy with the braking performance of these but the've made a mess of my discs so not keen to use them again. Has anyone done a comparison of the OMP pads to eithe pagids or yellowstuff

Where from CBP? Waiting for a call back from them this afternoon as I need to get some myself before Donny, or perhaps the new compound Pagid Yellows?

I have OMP in my 20VT6 and had yellowstuff in my VIS, so not a totally fair assessment.

I have found the OMP to have good initial bite, but am not convinced they will resist heat fade as well as the yellowstuff.

The yellowstuff lacked initial bite from cold but as they warmed up got better and better.

Only experience was road based. And to be fair I am still bedding in the OMP together with MTEC disks.

Happy

Cracking, I'm going to give those a try, meant to be an improvement of the existing yellows, which I've been pretty happy with smile

Wonder how much they are chinny

You can't compare pagid RS pads to the OMP road & sport pads.

Their is a world of difference. The OMP pad will fade fairly quickly.

EBC yellowstuff are pretty good though.

EBC yellowstuff at around £120 or the new Pagid yellow compound at around £200? That's my choice right now!

Seems like the OMP pad is out then. What about Ferodo DS2500. The 20vt pads are the same as MK RS focus I think. These are readily available for about £120

Why not EBC yellowstuffs? For £120 they are better than the Ferodos, which I had some time back on my second coop.

I've got Yellowstuff on now. Found them good to start with but they have tended to wear the discs unevenly and their performance has definatly not as good as they were

Gone for Pagid RS14 as no RS15's would be available until next week, so no good for Donington
