I have ordered a full set of Powerflex bushes, just wondering if anyone has them on their coupe and how much better should it feel. I have ordered new top mounts and bearing pieces for under top mounts. Hoping to get rid of an annoying squeak!

Only ARB poly bushes is prone to squeak, no matter the brand.....polyurethane squeaks when in continuous contact with metal and no grease between.....must be lubed yearly at least to avoid that....
Polyurethane is better that standart bushes, handling is better, must be careful when fitted, few things can go wrong.....

My poly bushes have been fitted for five years and about 150,000 miles - I've never lubed them and they don't squeak (apart from really big suspension movements when they are really cold)

Glad you put that up Nigel, was about to go and check mine as they've been on for about 6 yrs and never been lubed other than on fitting.
Can't say they've ever squeaked but very rarely gets used in the middle of winter.

This is how it should have come out of Torino!

Lower wishbones on Coupe,Marea,Bravo,Brava, Alfa 145,146,155,147,156 is almost identical and there isnt much movement polyurethane-metal......but upper wishbones on Alfa 147,156,GT,GTA, are very very prone to squeak, because wishbone tend to move a lot up-down direction, and if not lubed squeak will appear for sure in one to 5-6 weeks.....coupe type wishbone bushes luckily for us didnt squeak too much......anyway it's always good idea to grease it excessively......polyurethane is oil resistant, so no problem.

Thanks everyone for sharing the experiences. Having had a 156 before it had an appetite for wishbones too... Didn't squeak much. The squeak on the coupe drives me demented!!!! So I'm hoping the new bushes will do the trick. ;-)
