With the coupe off the road I'm looking into removing my interior, dying the headlining black and soundproofing the cabin way beyond factory spec.

Can anyone recommend a good product for the purpose? Does anyone have first hand experience of using a particular product and if so could you provide some feeback? How much weight am I likely to add to the car if I cover most surfaces in sound proofing?

Thanks in advance

thread moved to ice section, loads of advice there too.

This thread might as well be deleted. I was looking for info in the wrong sub forum.

Plenty of information on the subject here.
