how much extra would you pay to have a limited edition 20vt can you fetch them for around 1500? or are limited editions very sort after and can fetch more?

they do go for cheap, but expect to pay double.

i would, but check it over inch by inch. the money you have saved get any work needed done straight away.

just got back from ireland gents and its a rare result....makes up for the pooplus i drove to scotland for.. .
i paid way less than asking price for it as well..flew over for £45... had booked ferry back for £85 which i missed so i either had to wait for the night one or buy another ticket for stranraer(£135) which i did then had a faultless drive to rob40's for a cup of tea then home..(£50 fuel)so it's cost £300 to collect but the guy dropped an extra £200 to cover my ferry and fuel from stranraer as his organisation and a steering issue he hadn't mentioned made me late for the ferry

anyway..the car bodywork is suprisingly good for the price..a little strip of laquer peel on the pillar at side of windscreen a little dint on bonnet (outwards where someone has shut it on a tool) a touch of fade on boot lid but solid and handsome overall and way better than the money i paid would suggest..excellent oil pressure ,good tyres (on very clean alloys)and eibach springs ,full stainless decat ...full stamped service history with a folder of bills from l+m and auto integrale..last service with cambelt at 85k now done 96..all in all very happy and i now have the chasis i wanted and after selling the 6 speed,calipers and wheels it won't owe me much if anything

patch do you know anyone thats as good as you or nearly as good at detailing to smarten her up? as shes been stood a little while..

thanks ..its funny how some cars, like girls are just right for you ..its not as tidy as either the green one or the 6 speed.. niether is it as tight or quick, though that matters not ..its got a few marks and a couple of small dings but i love it!

its in relatively good shape and £500 would have it a real tidy car..its got a new ally rad iv'e noticed as well.. great i wanted one for my build!..anyway just goes to show you can get a good buy cheap ,i have had a couple now but you have to sift through a few cheap dogs first to find one

Okay, I'm trying to organise a trip back (hopefully confirmed this week) once I know how much time I can get and think about what I need to do at home, I'll look at doing/fitting in both cars seriously.

Though saying this, once you've seen the prices you may not be so enthusiastic
