Please…don’t shoot me shocked
I know this question has been asked like a kajillion times!!
However, I’ve checked the Search Function already and I found this thread which answers most of my queries.

However there is still a bit of ambiguity in the thread as to whether the trim and the alloys are the same paint code or if the trim is Grigio Titanio Matallizzato and the Wheels Grigio Medio Matallizzato.

My coupe was delivered to the paintshop today for a full body respray and I just want to make sure I have the correct paint codes!

Headlights, rear light cups, wing mirrors:Grigio Titanio Metallizzato / Metallic Titanium Grey FI 551/89

Alloy Wheels:Grigio Medio Metallizzato 776

Is this correct or are both the trim and the wheels FI551/89

Thanks smile

= Verified to be true by PiZ. As a source for official information, that's probably as good as it gets...

I thought it was concluded a short while ago on here that the LE wheel paint was 551 "Shore Beige Metallic"?

Me too!! ooo
So whatever the code is,the headlights, mirrors etc are supposed to be diferrent colours from the alloys? Well bugger me,I thought they were supposed to match? chinny
I had my Sword alloys sprayed 551 shore etc and they did appear darker than the mirrors headlights etc.
Bloody Italians!!!!!! box

Oh Buddah....I'm confused confused

I thought it was FI 551-89 for the trim.

And FI 776 for the wheels.

This is headwrecking!

Bloody Fiat grr Why couldn't they put it on the sticker on the underside of the bonnet.

Surely better for it all to match? If it does and its about right in terms of colour against the original who cares. Id definely not do them different shades whatever fiat thought.

not sure if this is any use, but I've just re-sprayed my alloys in 551 for my sprinty, thought it would look good... have attached a couple of pics, so can see if its right for you! not fitted them yet (doing them 2 at a time!) so no on car shots yet...

I think it looks a little lighter than the LE wheels but it could just be the indoor flash... will try and get some outdoor ones too.

Well as you will see above:

Alloy Wheels: Grigio Medio Metallizzato 776

So yes they are lighter than the original LE's.

Well I was at the paintshop on wednesday to see the Coupé. The alloys are painted already. I have no idea what colour they chose in the end, but they are exactly the same colour as the alloys before they went to the paintshop, so the colour is either consistant or else it's consistantly wrong!!!

Oh my God, you should see how fantastic the car looks. The paintwork on the body is gleaming and it hasn't been polished or waxed yet ooo
Okay so the car had no doors on it, or bumpers, or windows, or a bootlid or even a bonnet, but still it looked a million dollars.

I will be busy posting up pics next week after I pick it up!!! yipee

Hi Alfex,

I got them painted at Mackin's Accident Repair, 69 Leitrim Road, Newry, County Down BT34 5XS Tel: 028 4063 8900.

The facility is off the beaten track near to Hilltown on a coutry lane, but their facility is very nice and very clean. Paul is a perfectionist and very nice to deal with.

My car started off as this (pic taken before the glass was removed)->

And ended up like this ->

It might be a bit out of your way though laugh

They do look lighter than the original paint to be honest, but there's no way in telling that from a photo until you see originals next to it.

Perhaps I am not with the programme.

Can we have it clearly stated? Is the LE wheel colour:

551 "Shore Beige Metallic"

or

Grigio Medio Metallizzato 776

The trim (Lights,Wing Mirrors and Cups?) doesn't seem in dispute at FI 551-89?

551 on paint chip was spot on compared to other codes. Will take a wheel to work and check again against 613 and 776. Don't have a colour chip for 551 on new paint scheme anymore.
But as no one really knows what code to use , I expect some le wheels have been painted in different codes.

Took me a while to get around to checking the colour chips on the wheels.
Like i have said before no longer have the color chip for 551 Beige Shore. But still think its a spot on match for the LE wheels i have.

Both 776 Grigo Medio and 613 Grigo Titanio are darker. I also checked these against 2 sets of headlights, 2 sets of light cups, mirror and dash strips and both darker too with these items.

Some pics

People my find 613 or 776 match there wheels/LE trims due to being repainted. This is just what i found to match mine.

Thanks Pondman
Was thinking it could be a mistake , but wanted to colour count down from 4 to 3 on the exterior.

Just added pic for 776 which i forgot to do yesterday.
