I was filling up the car at luchtime with some Duty, VAT and a bit of fuel when a very tidy and shiny broom 16VT pulled in.

We both left the kiosk at the same time so I asked him a polite question about his car. He looked puzzled so I pointed to my Coupe because I assumed he must have not seen it.
He gave me a grunt?
I asked if he had heard of the FCCUK club
Puzzled look no response?

Now I assume that an owner of a coupe must be passionate about their vehicle, because you don't just buy a coupe like you do a focus. It's because you specifically chose to because you want one.
This guy obviously thinks I was on the pull.

Three possible causes:

1 Your coop is a porto.

2 Your coop is an LE.

Either of which may have lead him to believe you were indeed trying to pull, or

3 He's foreign and didn't understand English!

4. He owns a "cheap fiat" and doesnt really care about owners clubs, forums, etc. C2D had issues with another coupe owner....

I had the same thing in oxford 4 weeks back. Saw a sprinty 20vt outside a shop. Had some time to kill and the shop was empty so went looking for the owner.
