I'm 22, clean license, etc and 2 years NCB.

Usually i have been paying £120 p/m on average since i was 19 on a 20vt Coupe.

It went down to £113 p/m last year, and my renewal came through for £99 p/m this year. (£1188 for the year)

I thought i would try and compare some meerkats this time, and to my surprise i got a quote for £729 for the year which i thought was good.

I phoned "Bell" my current insurer and explained my findings. Not only did they do everything they could to stop me canceling my policy. They beat the other deal i got and offered me 12 months car insurance for £639!

Now i know paying monthly increases your insurance cost, but i'm sure it doesn't double it!

I can now spend my savings on the Coupe laugh

The most I have ever paid for car insurance was about £420 for a coupe about 12 years ago. I suppose I now have age on my side for this purpose laugh I have just paid £340 for a 20vt, and that is kept on the street at night.
