Today i meet a guy with 20VT who used the stock Pierburg valve to control the boost. AFAIK it holds boost until 0.8. He said that metal pipe with small bleed hole is monted in the hose between pierburg and wastegate. Just as manual boost controller works. He has 3-4 different pipes with different bleed hole size, for different boost pressure.
It looks logical that this may work as manual boost controller, but i wonder if the Ecu alters ignition and inj times when 0.8 boost present like that, or something else related with this?
Opinions?????
