Hey Guys.

As per the Aberdeen thread, looking to arrange a rolling road day in May/June/July time.

Obviously 29th out(SICD) and I'm on holiday next 2 Sundays (5th June, 12th June) so looking at either before 29th may or after 12th june.

What you guys think?

Looking at £50 per car, if 10 cars turn up.

Cheers.

Ross

Stay away from dashfixer , there pish, rollers are out about 30bhp , get on the phone to Ava , there rollers are more accurate and they measure afr and emissions unlike dashfixers strap it down and ask you how much power your expecting approach .

Lol.

I've used Ava, falkland performance and dash fixer.

Ava's rollers put an abnormal load on the car, so much so that the boost spikes everywhere when it's on the rollers, even though its fine on the road.

Falkland were quite good but miles away from me.

Dashfixer was accurate when I went tbh. I'll dig out my old graphs next week but I made the same power as my 1/4 mile time would have indicated.

I'm happy to go to somewhere else if people have an issue?

Ross

Just basing it on my Megane 225 witch was standard and made 240bhp and the boy that was working there owned an astra Vxr that was totally standard apart from a remap and was running 300bhp , my car then made 222 bhp on Rs tunings rr in leeds before mapping ,oh and the 300bhp astra got spanked off a real 300bhp supercharged type r ;-)

Hmmm.

If that's the case then fair enough.

What rolling road would you prefer?

Well that's an option. I know Marco uses them for his car, or used to.

Think its a case of finding a r/r and sticking to it.

I also tried Ava and got 266, then went to Wallace performance where it started at IIRC 240 and eventually ended up at 250 after adding some bits and repairing some parts, which seemed about right and on course.

I just wish Matty at Wallace performance was a bit closer.

My front bumper was cracked at Ava however.

Roger, Flea would probably come up to do the map if we got a couple more coupes to make it worth his while.

Well that would be amazing tbh Ronnie laugh although i need to stop by another place down south for my party piece wink was planning on doing both on the one trip...

Interesting thought if Flea could come up though, live mapping would take a long time though to get right as compaired to a remap.

Btw ..... Cleaned your coolant bottle yet chap?? laugh lol
