Bought one of Halfords all weather car covers (£60.00 SIZE M) for the car until I return back to the UK.

It's a good fit, in fact if it wasn't for the spoiler (that I don't like) on the rear, it would be a perfect fit for a coop.

Some shots - I can pull it over the front lips, but it'll probably just slip up anyway. So these remain exposed.

It has ties for clipping under the car, performed extemely well last night in all the rain we had. Very pleased with it.

Oh! Here's a quick shot of my newly powder coated blades, sprayed the centre caps last night....

These to get new rubber and get fitted upon my return before Spa.

They look good, but I wanted immediately! All I have done is disconnected the battery. That's it! Fingers crossed!

No wobblies, spacers required (18mm front) and the rear to push them out a tad to match the front and fill the arch better. Using 15mm on these.

Those black rims will be for sale once the blades go on! Actually, standard 20VT coop wheels look very nice in satin black

Looking good. What do make of the quality, Phil? Is it likely to leave any marks/scratches or is it soft on the inside?

It is relatively soft, and is definitely breathable. Can't see any problems with it and the seams have a soft finishing to them on the inside of the cover. A few rub marks won't really bother me to be honest. It will be mopped again before Spa anyway.

A good point for those who dont have a mop. It looks pretty good value at £60.

I've had one for about 5 years now. It's not been used all the time, mostly in winter when ice and snow have been around.
It's soft inside and I have not had any problems with the paint being rubbed or damaged.

It has one or two small tears in the outer covering now which have been repaired with duck tape, but has lasted well and will do another couple of years at least.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
I even unplugged my own.
