Koni's are an instert kit on hte coupe. Have to cut your old shocks and fit the koni into the housing. They are good, but i prefer a complete new shock like the bilstein. As far as i know Koni do not do a coilover kit for the Coupe. FK, D2 and KW are the only coilovers im aware of.

The KYB rears are VERY stiff. Barbz came up with them and they were actually very good for track or fast road use, with the stiff rear reducing understeer. However, for road use, ive personally found the rear too hard. Go for KYB rear and you wont regret......Barbz put billies front with standard springs & poly bushes on my coop, later on I put 24mm whiteline ARB and wow I love this set-up as I feel flying on turns with no understeer and yes it was advised and installed by 1 of the best man to know Coop all.

I have billies and eibach's on mine and the ride is superb! Ditto - A real nice firm GT ride, firm but not hard. I've also got a 22mm Whiteline rear ARB + camber bolts, but I still get a bit of understeed when pushing on! a nice SAFE set up, let's you know when you're reaching the limit you can see from the pic below, it reduces roll too \/ \/ \/

I had the Barbz KYB set up before the Billies and Eibach I have now, KYB requires Eibach rear spring to level out the shock ride heights, which in turn further stiffens up the rear and can on rough roads lead to a very crashy ride! Personally I did not like it. I much prefer the smoother combo I have now.

I think this may have been answered further up the thread by sungard? Until I read it I had the same thoughts though!

Bringing this back up, but with a twist. Would kyb ultra Sr rears go with bilstein fronts and standard springs? That is the combo I have, except I also have Eibach springs - no complaints from me
