I had a few interested people wanting to buy my car when I had it advertised but can't seem to let her go.
The hours of sourcing parts and time spent working on her along with the expense have made me think what is it about these cars that are so hard to let go.
After reading proccys thread its made me realise that there's quite a few of us!

For me it's a bit of a hobby, even the cleaning/detailing side of it.
So many cool products and gadgets to buy

Its part of the family. I have been close to getting rid a few times but just cant do it. To this date nothing puts a smile on my face like it. But to say its high maintenance is a joke. Definitely like dating Katie Perry.

I've toyed with the idea of saying goodbye, then I go through a world full of emotions and realise I'd rather chop off my right arm and beat myself over the head with it before I could say goodbye to the Moose Coupe.

There's mounting family pressure to sell mine but I keep coming up with reasons to keep it. I've had half a dozen new cars inthe last ten years and nome them come close to how my coupe drives ( when it's working...)

I've never had the urge to sell mine or even look around for an alternative. I love mine to bits and use it every day, it's just a gorgeous car and get an uplifting feeling when driving it, even if it is only to work and back It's something different and something special and I wouldn't want to ever be without it. Honestly, when thinking of stuff to buy if I won the lottery (as you do) I still see a place for my Coupe, if not more of them

Whatever sort of day it has been, the Coupe has the (almost) unfailing ability to bring a huge smile to the face . Loud pedal = Cheshire Cat, especially when being tail-gated by some sprout in a BMW (or like last night some in a hottish Megane). (I am beginning to think JBT is stalking Katie Perry - every post mentions her)

It's the fact that you spend your whole life savings on keeping the bloody thing going.
I do get emotional when I think how much I will lose when selling it!

I know my Coupe won't ever be sold again as a complete vehicle not for the pittence that people will pay for them now. It's on the Coupe Donor register so when the end comes, it will be broken, & many other coupes will benifit from the bits & I will say goodbye with some guttedness

The coupe is like one of the family. I reckon at some point I will buy a new engine and keep it just in case. I can already feel a full bare metal spray and a strip down under seal / wax oil coming on....
Long live the coupe!!!!!

That said, if the lottery win doesn't come before she's sold then ownership will be a one of life’s pleasant memory’s as I can’t afford a 4th car

The LE is my 5th coupe and the 1 I've always wanted and I've never spent so much money on any of my others as I have this. So I can't see me getting rid in a hurry.

Just love looking at and driving mine and when my son bought "Gran Turismo 5" a few weeks ago, the first car in the game I bought was a Fiat Coupe Plus. I've now upgraded it as much as possible so it has 354bhp!!! I'd get into plenty of trouble with that much power in a real one.
