Looks good. Really need to do mine. What paint did you use?

i used wet and dry to remove most of the bad bits of rust , gave it a coat of kurust to try and stop the bad bits of rust coming back , vht aluminium paint as a base coat , plasti-kote brilliant metallic silver as the top coat , just need to give it a coat of vht clear coat to seal the paint .

make sure all the paint is high temp, or at least a good quality paint, I used vht as a primer and used a tin of rover gun metal grey that I had kicking around for a top coat before putting a 2k lacquer on it.

the rover paint discoloured within a week and then peeled.
frown

ps, looks really good.

Yeah If using paint, VHT is a must or it'll just turn yellow. Even the powdercoated one I had before turned yellow after awhile... Which leaves me to conclude that there's no other more hardwearing finish other than replating it.
