I have a passenger seat going for Spa, as I haven't managed to persuade Leighton to persuade his significant other for a weekend pass

I'm heading down to the Ashford travelodge from Bristol Thurday evening, to cross on Eurostar Friday morning.

well, just went to re-book the hotel as a "just in case i decided to do it" as there fully booked.

Try the campsite Marco, get a static caravan? They might have availability?!

At the campsite i think they want a minimum 3 night booking as its bank holiday there. Just bring a tent and pitch up along side us somewhere.

The caravans are all booked up now - I spoke to them a few weeks back! So i'll be there in the cheapest pop-up tent I can find!!

if anyone was desperate there's a bird at work selling a quality 5 man tent for just £80, which considered, but when you add all the beds, cooker, and other stuff in it's not so cheap nor so easy to cart round

If so, your new employer is duty bound to give you the time off.

I have amazing memories of that campsite. We did a charity bike ride from italian alps to Amsterdam. This was one of our stops, when we arrived there were 60 Dutch student nurses there with a karaoke tent. We all got very drunk and got told off many a time by the teachers who were supposed to be looking after them.

The next day wasn't fun doing 100 miles hungover.

Quite decent facilites to be honest and very close to the track.
