... have to peacock proof their car?!



Our slightly "eccentric" neighbours have for some reason about 7 peacocks, it turns out they either really like ot dislike their reflection in an ink black Coupe (they've no interest in the red Alfa).

Came home the other day to find both doors covers in scratches, luckily they polished out but looks like I'll be needing a fitted cover as soon as payday comes around!

This may be the weirdest post I've ever seen!!!!!!!

Have you spoken to your neighbours about their peacocks damaging your car?

Yeah, didn't know if I was going to laugh or cry when saw the mess. As it polished out I did see the funny side, makes a change from asbo kids keying people's cars I guess!

Have to admit, if I'm in the missus' truck I won't be breaking for them if they're in the road! 4x4 is running well thanks mate, having some fueling issues at the moment though so feel a trip back to Joes might be in order!

It was them who told me about it, they were in a real state over it. 99% of the marks have come out so I'm happy, a quality fitted cover is about £100 so I might drop some hints about them contributing towards that.

Your situation sounds unique on here, but it seems peacock vandalism is nothing new...
