I got my car back today with the tuning side of things complete(ish) . For those that haven't seen my thread in the tuning section it made 432bhp. It took the best part of 18 months from start to finish but was well worth it for the sheer look of terror on my Dads face when I took him out in it

This thread is to publicly thank all the people that helped with my project along the way. It's probably going to sound like I have won an Award or something but I feel the forum has a wealth of knowledgable people and they need to be thanked from time to time

In no particular order

TurboJ for pointing me in the right direction for pistons

Paul @ Motormech for building the engine and putting up with my constant phone calls asking when my car would be ready

Jay (Easy) for the stg2 head and many many PM's checking up on me

Anyone I mythered by PM or on the phone for info/help/parts etc - Nigel, Igor (anthrax) and JBT among others

Joe (CC) For fixing my car at short notice on his day off and for giving me more ideas on what to buy next

Leighton for the mapping and numerous turbo changes, porting and other bits and bobs

TrevM (My Old Man) for help with everything

He blew the rad on his way down to Spa, but it was kind of sorted. The relevant people will give the full story.

And the turbo return pipe was split.

I had an hour on track with Taff !!! His coupe is just how i want mine to be. Its well set up and plenty of power all through the range.

Well as a few have posted above my car has been an absolute **** this last weekend. I've had 3 radiators, 2 oil return pipes and other issues. It ran perfectly on track Saturday and Sunday morning but started to play up again after that and only just got me home. I'll have a look at it this weekend and decide what to do with it.
