What front brake pads would you recommend for a standard LE.

The pads fitted in it at the mo are the same ones I bought the car with, a set of cheap motor factors pads like Apex so it got through the MOT.
I've still got the drilled & grooved standard discs fitted, in good condition.

I want to change the pads as the brake pedal feel is bad/softish.
I've overhauled front & rear calipers with new seals & freed off the sliders, freed off the load compensator + renewed the brake fluid with Dot4.
I also intend to fit braided hoses at some point to.

I'm after a pad with good stopping power from cold & works well when hot as I don't track it but do enjoy a good drive wink + would love it not to squeak every time I brake hehe

Cheers for your input.
Rob
