I'm at a juncture that has been forced upon me and in order to weigh everything up I could do with an opinion on the value of my coupe.

I love the coupe and it's not been any hassle, but I don't think I'm getting the enjoyment out of it that I ought to.

Someone drove into it last month so this forces me to make some decisions.

Just learnt that baby no.3 is on the way smile and I've used the coupe on occasion to haul me, the missus, two under 4's, luggage and big pushchair so anyone who says "baby on the way must sell my coupe" is a wimp wink but baby no.3 causes issues especially seeing as I'm one seat belt less than I could do with.

So I might get something bigger, sorry guys.

so my coupe an overview: (this would be post repair)

Ink Black
1998 R reg
88K miles
British forces import (first registered in Germany)
full black leather in very good condition
4 new Falken tyres
Brand new radiator
Brand new oil cooler and pipes
Brand new thermostat
downpipe back stainless steel exhaust including sports cat. (cost £1000)
Tarox, 6 pot front brake conversion (cost £1500)
Eibachs and Konis (cost £500)
New big-end bearings. (done proactively)
Hybrid turbo (done 40,000) pulls well, no smoke, no play.
Standard boost
K&N 57i
HIDs
Injectors cleaned 1000 miles ago.
New clutch 3000 miles ago.
New wishbones and handbrake cables also 3000 miles ago.
6 months MOT
11 months Tax
Bodywork nice but does have some car park dings.
Wheels have some minor scuffs
two keys (silver and blue)
Told cam-belt was changed 2009 at 75000 but I don't have proof of that.
Oil pressure gauge erratic, but when cold it shows 3+ and 2.5 warm, however after a long run and hot 1.5 bar and hot+traffic jam = 1 bar but as soon as the accelerator is tickled the oil pressure shoots up and goes to 3 bar at 2000 rpm so I'm reliably informed that it shows wear but is fine. been like that for a year.
Motul 300V oil changed about 6 times over the last year.
Interior is good but centre consoles have marks on them (like they all do)

So what do you think?

How bad is the damage from the reversed into business? Pix would be handy...

Mileage, brakes and tubby are in your favour but cambelt ain't. To this eye ex Coop eye I'm thinking £2kish.

thanks Roly.
I was thinking this would be after the damaged had been repaired, so no damage.

2.5 k. Oil pressure will basically put everyone off though as although its technically not a problem there are a lot of cars available where owners will tell sellers pressure is good. I think therefore you will struggle to sell it full stop.

Ex Grigio Moon 20VT Plus
Ex 350Z
Now Aston Martin Vantage

was told it's Cat C today so I'm going to let it go frown

Long story but it's my best option right now. 6 months ago or maybe 6 months from now things could be different.

Cheers though and Mr Cooper I think you are right it wouldn't sell with an undesirable engine
