Anyone else had problems getting hold of Falkens?

Need a new 452, to match the virtually new one on the other front wheel of my VIS (will be good to start matching the pairs on this!).

However, puncture happened Wednesday. Tried loads of garages for 225/35/18's, quickest I can get some is next Tuesday. Needed the car for the weekend. Oh well, kids get a ride out in the 20vt, they'll be happy.

Many garages in Bristol have commented on the fact that lead times are slow, and are/have changed their preference to Toyo.

Can puncture not be repaired? Only a problem if it's in the sidewall or very close to sidewall...?

Or just put the space saver on, or borrow a wheel/tyre from the 20vt

The tyre that's gone was fubared anyway, and was very old (2002 manufacture date!!). The rest are all 2008 and later.

Not running a space saver on a 400 mile round journey this weekend.

20vt wheels are 16's, have 18's on the VIS. Not changing all four wheels, easier just to swap cars!!

Anyone else experience lead time issues with getting Falkens fitted? Or is it just me!

i got 2 in burton next day delivery 2 weeks ago....not much help i know, but there was no supply issue then Dan

Doesn't sound like something anyone would just have in stock, whatever the brand.

Just got a couple of new 452s today. They were ordered last night and arrived 1st thing.

Must be the size rather than the tyre.

Its the size I suspect, normally 40's are what people are after..

On 18's its actually more common for 35.

One 17's its more common for 40.

You sure? 40's on the bay are FAR easier to find then 35's...
